When I visited Ashland for the first time, I knew this was where I was meant to be. I came to AU knowing I had gifts but wasn’t sure what they were at the time. It was a scary transition coming from a small high school to college, but I’m so glad I took the risk. I grew not only in my studies but as a person. It was thanks to my caring professors and student mentors that they saw things in myself that I didn’t know I had, and gave me opportunities that I didn’t think I could ever have. Ashland will always hold a special place in my heart and I’m so proud that I’m graduating from here!
